You own your content. You give us permission to display it on WheelHub.
No stolen parts, scams, harassment, hate, or promotion of street racing.
Marketplace transactions and events are between members. WheelHub is not a party to them.
We may remove content or accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.
01Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and WheelHub (“WheelHub,” “we,” or “us”) governing your use of the WheelHub website, mobile applications and related services (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 15 years old to use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to buy or sell through the Marketplace.
You may not use the Service if we have previously suspended or removed your account, or if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
03Your account
You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep it current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@getwheelhub.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
Usernames may not impersonate another person or organization, or suggest an affiliation you do not have. We may reclaim usernames that violate this rule or that infringe another party's rights.
You may delete your account at any time from Edit Garage or through our account deletion page.
04Your content
You retain ownership of everything you post — photographs, captions, comments, listings, events and messages (“Content”).
To operate the Service, you grant WheelHub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, distribute and otherwise use your Content within the Service — for example, to show your post in the feed and in search results — and to permit our service providers to do the same on our behalf. This license ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for (a) copies that other members have already shared, (b) Content we retain where required by law or for safety and moderation purposes, and (c) short-lived backup copies.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the Content you post, including permission from any identifiable people in your photographs, and that posting it does not violate these Terms, the law or the rights of others.
We do not pre-screen Content, but we may remove or restrict any Content at our discretion, including Content we believe violates these Terms.
05Community standards
WheelHub exists for automotive and motorcycle enthusiasts to document their builds, find events and trade parts. You may not use the Service to:
post, buy, sell or promote stolen vehicles or parts, or anything else unlawful;
promote or glorify street racing, street takeovers, or reckless driving on public roads, or post content that endangers others;
harass, threaten, intimidate or bully anyone, or publish another person's private information (“doxxing”);
post hate speech, hateful symbols, nudity, sexually explicit material or gratuitous violence;
engage in fraud, scams, spam, fake promotions or deceptive listings;
impersonate any person or organization, or operate fake or automated accounts;
share personal identifiers such as addresses, phone numbers, license plates or VINs for the purpose of locating or tracking a person;
infringe any copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property right;
scrape or bulk-collect data from the Service, probe or circumvent its security, or interfere with its operation.
06Marketplace
WheelHub is not a party to any transaction. We do not own, inspect, store, ship or warrant any item listed, we do not process payments, and we charge no fees. Buyers and sellers contract directly with one another and bear sole responsibility for their transactions.
Sellers must describe items accurately, hold the legal right to sell them, and comply with all applicable laws, including vehicle title, registration and sales regulations.
Listings may not include stolen, counterfeit or recalled items, weapons, or anything that is unlawful to sell in the seller's or buyer's jurisdiction.
We make no representation regarding any listing, item, price, buyer or seller.
Recommended practices. Meet in a public place, inspect items before paying, verify a vehicle's title and VIN, and do not send payment for an item you have not seen to a person you have not met.
07Events and meets
Events are posted and organized by members, not by WheelHub. We do not host, supervise, insure or verify them.
If you post an event, you are responsible for securing permission to use the venue and for complying with local laws and property rules.
Attendance is at your own risk. Drive lawfully and respect the venue, its neighbors and the wider public.
Events organized around unlawful activity, including street takeovers, are prohibited and will be removed.
08Reporting, blocking and enforcement
You may report any post, comment, listing, event, account or conversation, and block any member. Blocked members cannot follow you, message you or see your content.
We review reports and may remove Content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put others at risk, with or without notice. We are under no obligation to host any Content.
If we take action against your account and you believe we made a mistake, contact support@getwheelhub.com.
09Copyright complaints
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe Content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@getwheelhub.com that includes:
identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
the URL of the Content on WheelHub;
your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and
your physical or electronic signature.
We will remove infringing Content and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
10Vehicle data and member content
Vehicle year, make and model information is compiled from public government datasets, our own research and member submissions. It may contain errors or omissions. Nothing on the Service — including modifications, fitment details, pricing or advice posted by members — constitutes professional mechanical, legal, safety or purchasing advice. Verify anything you rely on independently.
11Third-party services and links
The Service is delivered using third-party infrastructure providers, and members may post links to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party.
12Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHEELHUB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT MEMBER CONTENT IS ACCURATE, SAFE OR LAWFUL. MEMBERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN CONTENT AND CONDUCT.
13Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHEELHUB AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, ANY TRANSACTION OR EVENT ARRANGED THROUGH IT, OR THE CONDUCT OF ANY OTHER MEMBER. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless WheelHub from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Content you post, a transaction you enter into, an event you organize, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including the content license for copies already shared, disclaimers, limitations of liability and indemnification — will survive.
16Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the Service or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17Governing law and general terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which WheelHub is based and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and WheelHub regarding the Service.
